Granddaddy Purple Xpress is a cross of Purple Urkle with Big Bud that has been a staple strain for years. It is a predominantly Indica strain suitable for cultivation indoors and outdoors which finishes quickly and produces very high resin levels. This California staple delivers flowers blooming in shades of deep purple, a contrasting backdrop for its snow-like dusting of white crystal resin. The Big Bud genetics serves to increase its yield potential. Indoor plants will be ready after seven weeks of flowering, sometimes a bit quicker, with yields between 350 - 400 gr/m2. Outdoors, where plants are ready for the chop in late September, yields can get quite impressive, up to 700g per plant. Mold resistance is good, despite its dense buds, helping in marginal growing zones such as Michigan, Maine, or any humid area. Feeding requirements are moderated, so don't overdo things in this respect indoors or outdoors.
The aroma from is Granddaddy Purple Xpress pungent, with hints of sweet grape and berry accented by a heavy, spicy pungency that leaves a hot aftertaste. Granddaddy Purple Xpress buds are strikingly purple, spattered with bright fiery orange hairs, and coated in sweet sticky resin.
